In September 2015 the NICE guidelines in Home Care were published. The guidelines require home care providers to meet specific requirements. The Home Spirit Tool has been designed around these recommendations including:
All the above can be printed as a report after a short assessment. The tool therefore aims to save time and to meet compliance needs.
The tool can be used to audit the dementia environment and produce a report for families with your company logo on it. It shows the family that you have in depth knowledge about dementia and can provide advice and support beyond the time that you are providing care. A family is more likely to purchase from a provider that is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile.
There is no cost for the first month free trial. After that if you chose to sign up it will be £19 per month for as many assessments as you need. If you have more than one assessor in the organisation it is £45 per month. No bank details will be requested until you choose to sign up. On the paid subscription you will also get access to training material.
The portal only gives a onetime access for free trial. However, if you are interested in trialling it again please contact admin@3spirituk.com
Yes, you can cancel at any time without obligation.
The tool has been designed to be used very simply. When you sign up you will receive several emails explaining how to use the tool over the four-week free trial period. If you would prefer one of our representatives to explain to you how to use the tool, contact admin@3spirituk.com
The person centred planning tool has been designed to use with anyone. The circle of support tool can also be used by anyone.
No one has access to the client information except the nominated user that created the assessment. All the data collated is stored safely and subject to industry standard security protection and encryption where appropriate. All internet traffic to the site is encrypted and any financial details are not stored on our servers. The data on the system is regularly backed up, but you may wish to print a copy for peace of mind.
The way a person navigates the environment can be affected when someone develops dementia. This will in turn impact on how independent the person is, and on how they feel. A simple audit can highlight potential solutions. New technologies are coming to the market every day, which are being added to the tool.
After a diagnosis of dementia, it can feel very overwhelming for the whole family. However, there are a lot of things that you can do to make life the best it can be. The planning tool is a great opportunity to sit together as a family and have conversations about how to deal with potential challenges and to talk about new opportunities.
It is free for the first few goes, after that it will be £5 for each report produced. It is recommended that the report is completed again where there are changes.

Once you have entered your details there will be an option to down load the tool, so you can work on paper.
